I realize I’ve been a really bad blogger lately. Seems this always happens to me come winter. I promise myself I won’t let it happen again but then I get holed up from the seemingly never ending darkness and it’s not inspiring to take photos or when I do to even edit them.

I’m working on that though and this warmer weather is so encouraging that spring is around the corner. Some of these posts are a little late. This is almost a month late – oops!! There is a lot of new things coming soon for Kentiga and I’m really excited about the changes. Be sure to keep an eye out for them!

This is my little guy for his 4 month session. He’s becoming such a happy baby and is really starting to get those baby rolls that I absolutely adore. My main mission in life is for a chubby baby!!

Little Jonah was almost 3 weeks old when I met him and he was such a sweetheart.

I was a little worried we had missed that golden time for newborn portraits in order to get those sleepy and curly newborn images taken. Fortunately my worries were completely unfounded and it didn’t take much for Jonah to get totally conked out.

Isn’t this couple just adorable? They’re getting married next summer! You probably can’t tell from the photos but it was maybe 20 degrees when I met up with them! We had a chance at a few shots before everyone turned into icicles.

Isn’t this family just adorable? Sometimes I forget during a shoot that I’m actually ‘working’ I loved hanging out with this family, they were so much fun. Their daughter Paige was absolutely hilarious!!

I love having the wonderful opportunity to capture a child as they grow up. Children grow up in the blink of an eye. It seems like one moment you’re watching them smile for the first time and the next you’re chasing them down the hall as they’re giggling and trying to get away from you. Photography is wonderful because it’s such a great way to capture memories that will last a lifetime.

Have I mentioned that I love working with newborns? I would never have guessed that itty bitty Tessa was a month old, I seriously wanted to steal her and take her home! I’m sure her mom wouldn’t mind right?

Meet Colin, he was AWESOME to work with!

This little sweetie was so perfect to work with. I love shooting newborns, everything from their tiny toes to that sweet newborn smell just makes me melt.

This little guy was all smiles when we met up and he did not stop running the whole time!

The M Family was a blast to hang out with. You might remember Ashley and Brent from a long time ago. This time I had the chance to meet all of Brent’s family too! Ashley has been waiting very patiently to see these so without any further delay!

I love this shot of Brent’s parents, it’s so refreshing to see marriages that stand the test of decades.

This family loves, loves, LOVES their sports. Just don’t try to get on everyone’s good side and name your favorite team because it’s guaranteed that someone won’t agree!
